(update) Fiorina: IT dip is not due to cyclical trends [InfoWorld: Top News] This has some ring of truth to it. It's a bad economy and that affects both spending and outlook -- but I think there's also been a lasting shift in the way people view IT investments -- more maturity, higher standards.
