yosemite, july 4 2002

I went to Yosemite for July 4th this year.   A relaxing trip.  The big event -- a hike to the top of Half Dome.   17 miles, round trip.  4800 foot vertical gain.   12 hours.  What a view.   From the bottom of this picture to the top.
