I tried to check out ZOË yesterday -- mostly I couldn't get it to work. I configured an IMAP server and nothing happened -- not even a complaint. However, I looked at the parts of the software I could look at without mail. Looks like they have some pretty big plans -- currently supports HTTP and SMTP, looks like they plan to support inbound IMAP and HTTPS and a couple other things. It uses Lucene and some code for the Google API. Looks like it is built on some app server code from webobjects.com and uses a lot of XML (and HTML and WML) parsing code from Apache. 7:03:39 AM ![]() |
