Bay Area Real Estate Prices Too Hot for Some to Touch. Despite tough economic times, the real estate market in the San Francisco Bay Area, after a very brief cooling off period, is sizzling again. [New York Times: Technology] This article doesn't really draw any conclusions, but it did include some factors I hadn't considered before -- e.g. that some people are now looking to real estate as an alternative to the stock market.
