"Since I got my Beagle Bros command chart, I've acquired new vim and vigor!" Also, the Where Are They Now page notes that Joe Holt was one of the Beagles, which I never realized. I still play Joe's Defender game from time to time on a real, live Apple //e. The page goes on to note that Joe is still in the industry: he works for Apple and co-wrote iMovie. [Slashdot]SecurityFocus Says Windows More Secure Than Linux I think it is hard to make a claim like this. Just for example, Windows had a number of security flaws that made it easy for novices to get viruses via email. Or to have their web server (which they may not have even been aware they were running) infected by a trojan and, say, used for a DDoS attack. So, I'd say Windows security flaws have more lift. Also, I think the average technical knowledge of a Linux user is much higher. Whatever. 10:37:13 AM ![]() |
